MEET THE BAND

Phil Witherspoon Lead Vocalist/Percussion/Keyboards has been in bands for over 30 years and has played all up and down the East Coast. Fronting the band and bringing his special talents to the audience is what he is all about. Phil's musical roots include 60's and 70's R&B and Beach music. Some of his influences are Sam & Dave, Otis Redding, Eric Clapton, Wilson Pickett, Al Green, Delbert McClinton, and Michael Bolton. 

Ronnie Yount Lead Guitar/Vocals brings his soulful/rock attitude to the guitar licks he provides in every song the band does. Ronnie credits guitarists such as Eric Clapton, Christopher Cross, and Steve Cropper for influencing his style of playing. Ronnie also adds his tenor/baritone voice on many of the bands songs.

Joe Barrier Bass Guitar/Vocals is responsible for the solid bass lines the band relies on for their unique style of music. Joe delivers a low punch to all the bands songs and is one half of the bands solid rhythm section. Joe attributes such musicians as Donald "Duck" Dunn for influencing him with his solid bass lines. Joe also adds his tenor/baritone voice to many of the bands songs.

Brian Watts Drums is the other half of the tight rhythm section. He has been playing drums for many years and has toured up and down the East Coast with many groups. He lists Ringo Starr, Charlie Watts, Peter Criss, and Kenny Soule as his influences. Brian is also part owner in a recording studio (Mt Hollywood in Mt Holly, NC). This is a reunion for Brian with the band after moving home from Charlotte where he played with several groups in the Metro area.

Brian (LB) Watts Lead Guitar/Vocals brings over 20 years of performing experience to the group. LB has performed throughout the South East  with several different bands. He credits Eric Clapton, Larry Carlton, Todd Rundgren, Steve Howe, and others as his influences. LB is also adding his singing talents to the group doing lead and backup vocals on several songs. This is LB's return to the band after several years with other groups.

Eddie Wellman Keyboards/Vocals returns to the band after several years of a musical vacation. Eddie has performed for many years with The Night Move Band, Flying High, and other regional acts. He has a remarkable way of grasping an audience and taking them to a musical level they have never before experienced. He also writes his on music and lyrics and is responsible for writing the bands CD title cut "Summer Days & Summer Nights". His influences include Booker T, Sam & Dave, The Temptations, Larry Graham, and many other R&B legends. We are so happy to have Eddie back and hope he will be with us for a long time.

Tim Moose Sound and Lights has been running sound for bands since the early 80's and also brings his DJ influence to the crowd during the bands breaks.

Scott Killian Sound and Lights is the newest addition to the band helping out Tim and supplying the band with needed support and help.
